I'm gonna try this blog thing...

I am a wife and mother of three.  I am a Speech and Language Pathologist turned Assistive Technology Specialist, or at least trying to.  I work full time for a District that has more than a few problems.

Our new Student Services Director has significant experience with Instructional Technology.  Under her direction, 197 iPads were purchased to be used by Special Education staff and students. When the decision was made, I didn't have words for my excitement!

Four months later, the iPads have arrived, iTunes has been updated, Free and paid Apps have been added according to discipline or student need and I have spent hours over the summer balancing the care and entertainment of my three kids, my brother's two kids and the charge of writing an iPad training.  Who wouldn't be estatic at receiving a new iPad2 on their first day of work?
